listen to that gut!

Hello,

I wanted to share a story with you as you requested on Coast to Coast.

My name is Steven LaPlume. I was a military Police man, (actually called a security Policeman in the Air force) witness at the RAF Bentwaters/Rendlesham forest UFO incident. But my story happened a few years later when I was an Auxiliary Police officer n Leominster Massachusetts.

This incident happened about 1984.

As an Auxiliary policeman we are not true full time cops. We were actually part of the Civil Defense unit. Mostly we checked schools for people vandalizing, did traffic control in parades you know jusst there to assist.

However we had a police cruiser and would patrol the city like the regulars and if we see a crime we intercede and stop crimes and call the regulars for back up or actually they come and take over the case for instance drunk driving we would see a suspected DUI and pull them over call for the regulars they come and make the arrest.

Anyway, One day about 5 in the evening I go past a liquor store behind it is a train stop where people park cars for the commuter train.

I am on the way to check a school but man I get this real nagging feeling I should take a left in to the parking lot. Something’s going on I am not sure what but I get this gut feeling. I decide to ignore it I get a few hundred years up the road and BAM! A call comes in someone just robbed the liquor store. I pull a u turn pull in the parking lot and the thief had just fled. My partner stays with the victims I go chase on foot. He is gone but the fire department down the street has a bunch of fireman yelling and pointing which way he went. Long and short is he got caught gun I hand in a bar that he ducked into.

If I had listened to that still soft voice I would have nabbed a robber in progress. Man, I missed that one. From then on I listen to the voice and gut a lot better. I am a combat vet so I should have known better, I should have just pulled in ASAP and checked it all out.

I am not sure if that is worth a fire book but I thought I would share it with you.

As far as the UFO incident at Bentwaters that's pretty well documented and I have told this story to death over the past 30 years as it is a high profile case so I am not sure if you want to re print it.

Regards Steven LaPlume
